Tharthis Sandsea

The Tharthis Sandsea is the largest desert on Id’Etat. Centuries ago, explorers discovered parts of its surface were covered in a vibrant red stone called rubelym, which quickly became one of the most sought-after gems on the planet. As a result, settlers established a city right in the heart of the Sandsea. The trade flourished for decades, until the desert was picked clean, and the settlers had to resort to mining it beneath the surface. Production slowed to a near halt, and Tharthis City soon had little reason to be situated in one of the more inhospitable environments on Id’Etat. For a lack of better options, most of its inhabitants remained despite the hardships, which was quickly becoming the way of life on Id’Etat.
